Serial bomb blast in Agartala, one killed more than hundred injured
Giving a kneeful jerk the city of Agartala this evening panic like anything with serial bomb blast killing one and injuring more than hundred innocent people. The injured are being hospitalized till the last report comes in from the blast site. The apparently calm and peaceful city of the this tiny hilly state rocked this evening with the first blast at Radhanagar Bus stop when two bomb blast off simultaneously killing one and injuring 7 others. Five other blasts took place in crowded public places injuring at least 100 people of different ages. The second blast took place at Maharaja Ganja Bazaar then at GB hospital Chaumahani, third at near the news paper office Arohan and the last blast at Motor stand area. Police have detained one car with five youths and they are being interrogated by the senior police officials. The sudden development made the city dwellers spell bound. The senior officers rushed to the spots of blasts and the bomb squad has been pressed into service to defuse the bombs found in the blast sites. The Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, Chief Secretary Shashi Prakash and the Director General Pranoy Sahay visited the site of occurrences. Later CM held meeting with senior civil and police officials and instruct them to take all action to nab the culprits.
