ATTF extremist surrendered in Tripura with huge arms and ammunition
One hardcore terrorist belonging to ATTF today surrendered to the BSF laying down arms to come back to the main path of life to start afresh. Shailen Debbarma rank five in the All Tripura Tiger Force deposited one AK-47 rifle, 3 magazines, 116 rounds of live cartridges of AK rifle, one 9 mm pistol, one magazine and 1 round of live cartridge to the Asst. Commandant of BSF Sri SS Chatra of 73 Bn at Gamaibari this morning. The returnee had been at the Niralapunji Tiger camp under Moulavibazar dist of Bangladesh till his flee from the camp. The terrorist joined ATTF in 1993 when he was a boy of class xi at Kalyanpur under Khowai sub-division. He is second ATTF terrorist who fled the outfit’s Bangladeshi hideout in a month after Dhirendra Debbarma. The surrendered extremist later told the media that all the cadre of ATTF and NLFT are passing their days in misery and almost in starvation. He hints that some more top ranking cadres may surrender soon to become a part of main stream of nation.
