PULF army chief exposed in state; TP gains major success
The state police grabbed miraculous success by exposing several bigheads of the blacklisted peoples United Liberation Front (Azad) of Manipur today at Agartala itself. Of the seven suspected people detained from the Nagerjala bus stand here two days ago, 6 ill-famed terrorists were successfully exposed today including a self styled Army Chief of the PULF (Azad). Station said, “This is a major success for the Exposing an Army Chief of such a blacklisted terrorist organization is no small job”, said Rajkumar Jamatia, A police official of the West Agartala police Station. The case dates back to several months ago when the wife of Md. Abdur Rahman (25), self styled army chief of the PULF died and Abdur married a young girl, namely Lufi (20) of the Dimapur area of Nagaland and named her as Samina Akhtar, his late ultra wife. In course of time, Abdur went down to Bangladesh for some business of his terrorist outfit with some more aides namely Md. Firoz Khan alias Laskar (24), Md. Abdul Kasim (39), Md. Nazir Ahamed alias Tai Kunda (23), Md. Sanowar Ali (18) and Md. Jamir (30). Abdur took Lufi alongwith him. While returning from Bangladesh through the Sonamura borders, they got trapped by the MTF personnels at the Nagerjala area two days ago. Repeated police interrogations broke down their confidence and young Jamir vomited out all the details about their true identity. But the identification became easy only after Abdul Kasim, Nazir, Sanowar and Jamir gave out their real names and the police became aware of their blacklisted records. Though fuller details are still awaited, police has declared Lufi completely unaware of this great evil circle.
