A unique innovative water project at Jampui Hill
Nature has offered everything to this tiny hilltop to look gorgeous but water sources some how eluded this area. Local inhabitants had to struggle hard to fetch a bucket of water.
This old age problem had been solved finally by pumping up spring water on top of the hills. To do that 1800 meters of pipe lines had to be installed by cutting and boring hard stone of the hills.
25 horse power pumps which pull 5000 gallons water per hour have been able to store 33,39,400 litres, which is good enough for 2100 local people.
By putting hard and sincere labour this innovative Tlangsang water project was completed in a record time.
