TBSE declares Madhyamik results with 1.75 pc rise in pass percentage

Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) today declared its Madhyamik results with a rise of 1.75 percent in the average pass percentage across the state. Announcing the results at TBSE headquarters here this morning, Professor Amitabha Debroy said that 63.83 percent students who appeared in the Madhyamik examination of the Board have passed in the examination this year; students from Autonomous District Council (ADC) areas have exhibited a pass percentage of around 41.24 percent. A total of 47802 candidates had enrolled for the Madhyamik exams this year out which 45788 appeared in the exam. TBSE had conducted Madhyamik exams across 75 examination centers across the state.
The topmost position of the board’s average merit list this year was bagged by Shishu Bihar Higher Secondary School yet once again after its charisma in the H/S (+2 Stage) results. Souvik Das who secured 653 marks from the school with letter marks in seven subjects has emerged first this year. Shubhadeep Chakraborty of Udaipur English Medium Higher Secondary School have secured the second position in the merit list securing 648 marks with letter marks in seven subjects as well. Rahul Das of Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan secured 644 marks and settled for third position in the list, Subhajit Paul of Shishu Bihar Higher Secondary School has become fourth in the merit list securing 643 marks, Sayantika Ghosh of the same institution has emerged fifth bagging 642 marks. The fight for rank has been neck-to-neck this season, each candidate differing with each other for 1 marks or even less. Atanu Dey of Vivekananda Vidyapith High School who emerged sixth in the merit list fell short from Sayantika by 1 mark, Subhrajit Bhattacharya of Dakshin Amarpur Town Higher Secondary School, Sayan Rudrapal of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Vidyamandir and Manidipa Barman of Netaji Subhash Vidyamandir have become joint seventh securing 639 marks each. Isha Debnath of Netaji Subhas Vidyamandir and Koyel Dutta of Shishu Bihar Higher Secondary School have become joint eighth securing 637 marks each. Manish Debnath of Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan has ranked ninth in the merit list bagging 636 marks. Jyotirmoyee Bhaduri of Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan and Nabanita Debnath of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Vidyamandir have ranked joint tenth in the merit list securing 634 marks each.
