Sheikh Hasina invited to visit Northeast for tourism conclave

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed has been invited to attend a Northeast Regional Conclave on Tourism. Though the visit hasn’t been finalized yet, initial communication with the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh was done during the visit of Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma at Dhaka for the 3rd Indo-Bangla Trade Fair itself, said a highly places source here today. The source also added that Tripura is expected to be a crucial guest at the conclave to boost the already-developing bilateral relation between the two nations along NE.
